The efficient operation of a slitting production line primarily comes from three key factors:

Double arbor parallel interchangeable in 180degree rotation

Slitter consists of frame, upper and lower arbors, upper arbor lifting mechanism, arbor locking mechanism, AC motor, reduction gearbox, etc.

→ quenching and tempering → semi-finishing → ultrasonic testing → surface hardening → grinding → hard chrome plating → grinding. Working diameter tolerance ±0.00/-0.01.

Slits coil longitudinally into strips of required width. By adjusting blade positions, various strip widths can be produced. The slitter provides sufficient shearing force, stable rigidity, and high precision. High-precision blades and spacers are used, locked by hydraulic shaft lock. Blade overlap adjustment is done electrically via worm gear device, with digital display and anti-backlash device. Each slitter can perform tool change and adjustment offline, with motors for blade overlap adjustment and inching test.

For upper arbor lifting, power LK-SH13-2HP×4P×1/30. with Upper/lower arbor distance digital display.

Automatic Tool Change System

(5-10mins)

(1) Robot arranges blades and spacers onto rotating intermediate device (4 shafts). (2) Movable side arm shifts laterally, intermediate device moves and aligns with arbor. (3) Unloading pusher pushes blades and spacers from arbor onto unloading shaft. (4) Intermediate device rotates, pusher pushes arranged blades and spacers onto arbor, arbor hydraulic locking device locks tool set. (5) Movable side arm shifts laterally + directly, when in-position device indicates good fit, (6) slitting starts. 1 set.

Robot Tool Arrangement

(8-20minutes)

(1) Robot, according to tool arrangement software, picks blades and spacers in sequence and places them onto arbor. (2) Each blade and spacer is pushed by pusher. (3) After tool set is completed, unloading is performed. (3) Blades and spacers from loading arbor are placed back to fixed positions in sequence. (4) Next tool change begins. 2 units
