Loading: Place the sheet to be leveled in the feed area of the machine. For coils, a device such as an unwinder is usually used to unwind the coil and guide it to the leveler. If it is a single sheet, it is placed directly in the feed position.

Feeding: The sheet is smoothly conveyed to the working area of the leveler through a feeding device such as a guide rail, conveyor belt or roller. During the feeding process, it is necessary to ensure that the sheet can enter smoothly and the position is accurate to avoid deflection or jamming.

Roller group operation: Multiple roller groups are set in the leveling machine, and these roller groups run synchronously at different positions. When the plate enters between the roller groups, the upper and lower rollers will extrude, roll and stretch the plate in multiple directions. Through this repeated action, the stress inside the plate is eliminated, and the original defects such as bending and bulging are corrected, so as to achieve straightening and flattening of the plate. For example, for a curved plate, after multiple extrusions and stretchings by the roller group, the curved part will gradually be flattened.

Adjustment: During the working process, some adjustments may be required according to the actual situation of the plate. For example, according to the thickness and material of the plate, adjust the pressure of the roller group (that is, the gap between the upper and lower rollers) to ensure that the appropriate pressure is applied to the plate to achieve the ideal leveling effect. If the plate is deflected, it is also necessary to adjust the position of the relevant guide device or roller to keep the plate in the correct direction of travel.

Discharging: After the plate has been squeezed, rolled and stretched for many times and has reached the desired flatness and straightness, the plate can be taken out through the discharging area. The discharging device will smoothly send the leveled plate out of the leveling machine for subsequent processing or treatment, such as cutting, stamping, welding, etc.
