Light Gauge Cut To Length

Light gauge steel coils 0.3 to 3.0mm thickness, usually cold rolled steel, Galvanized steel, pre-painted steel, the uncoiling, leveling and cutting to length process requires high speed high precision.

1. Steel sheets sales as per weight, light gauge sheet coil has long length to cut, the higher speed means the higher production and more profit margin. The light gauge sheet cutting line speed can be up to 60m/min, 80m/min, 100m/min, realized by two types of fast cutting: fast stop cutting or rotary fly cutting.

2. The sheet surface shall be well protected during the whole process from uncoiling, leveling, length feeding, cutting, stacking and packing, PU rubber coated rolls for sheet transition.

3. For plain carbon steel thin sheet, 4 high leveler is workable, for stainless steel sheet and aluminum sheet, 6high leveler is necessary. We design each Cut to length lines for light gauge as per customer's coming raw material and output sheets specification & application.

4. Comparison between fly cutting and stop cutting:

So, if your sheets are very thin and short or you need no stop cutting, go with fly cutting, otherwise, fast stop cutting is a good economical choice.
